September 25-27, 2015
Hotel Novotel Paris Tour Eiffel, Paris, FranceINVITATION TO PROPOSE TOPICS & SPEAKERS
Meeting Chairperson: Simon Fishel, UKWe invite you to submit topics for discussion and, if possible, speakers who are experts in the relevant field.
Kindly send your suggestions to: cogen@comtecmed.com
The objectives of this meeting are twofold: to enhance our ability to provide genetic counselling to couples interested in using IVF-associated technologies to conceive, and to evaluate embryonic approaches and genetics in order to increase successful implantation and optimize early diagnosis of genetic diseases.

Our world of IVF has irreversibly changed due to the remarkable advances in the world of molecular genetics. The road to the acceptance, introduction and practice of the various molecular approaches, and the assessment of technologies for single gene disorders, translocations and comprehensive chromosome copy number remains littered with controversy and challenges. COGEN is therefore an appropriate umbrella organisation at an important time to dedicate a meeting to debate to a wide audience many of the issues and to inform on the technological advances, by key opinion leaders in the world of IVF and genetics.

Genome sequencing is bringing us significantly closer to personal genomics for fertility at affordable costs, and physicians will continually need to be apprised of genomic knowledge that will be of benefit to their patients. Bioinformatics and computational biomedicine are irreplaceable tools to develop personalized medicine, along with a range of technologies that are proffered out of various preferences and contested advantages.

We are living in a revolution, not just in biomedical research and theory, but also in our ability to diagnose incurable diseases and develop appropriate treatments.

With kind regards,
Prof.Simon Fishel
On behalf of the Organizing Committee
