Dear colleagues and friends,

I have the honor and great pleasure of welcoming you to Seoul at the 13th Seoul International Symposium and the 94th Annual Congress of Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology held in Grand Hilton Seoul from the 25th ~ 27th of Sep 2008. I am very confident that what we have prepared this year will be both exciting and educational in the study of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Seoul is a very fitting place to host this conference. In ancient times this city served as a symbol of Korea. It¡¯s the capital of an ancient land and now a city where the traditional and the cutting-edge exist at the same time. Seoul is a dynamic city that never sleeps. You will fall in love with this fast-paced but relaxing city. Women¡¯s Health has been drawing the attention of medical communities domestically and internationally over the past 60 years.

We prepared very useful programs covering a wide spectrum of Maternal-Fetal medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, General Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology aspects. Especially we will have the first breast specific session in Korea with the theme of Updates in Breast Disease. We will make it done successfully thanks to the contribution of distinguished guest speakers providing well balanced and relevant perspectives for this meeting. With further advancement in techniques and diagnosis, it will provide a valuable chance to address any queries and uncertainties that you face.

I sincerely hope all of you be the part of KSOG¡¯s future and promote relationships between Korean & International societies through the mutual exchange of positive ideas.

Enjoy your stay in Seoul and explore the cultures and traditions of Korea with the most beautiful season of the year.

Sincerely yours,
